Description of pulley ceramic lagging:

Ceramic lagging sheets are produced by vulcanizing 20x20 high alumina tiles into rubber layer.  High alumina ceramic tiles deliver excellent wear resistance, this means longer service time and less maintenance.  Also the dimples of ceramic tiles significantly increase the friction coefficient between ceramic lagging and the pulley, providing better belt grip. 




 
So pulley ceramic lagging are widely used in mining industry, its service life is 5 ~ 10 times longer than traditional rubber lagging.
