Coefficient of friction between conveyor belt and pulley is a very important factor in determining the performance of a conveyor belt on a drive.
Low coefficient of friction may cause conveyor belt slippage and lead to more wear of the belt and belt tracking problem.
Rubber pulley lagging can reduce slippage and extend service life of conveyor belt.

Diamond Pulley Lagging Rubber Sheet is generally applied to pulleys which require more fiction to the conveyor belt. The diamond grooves are more flexible when compared to plain rubber.

• Plain Rubber Lagging for non-drive pulleys to provide better traction for the conveyor belt. 
One of the benefits of this option is that it won't excessively increase the friction that could cause the belt to wear faster.
• Diamond Grooved Rubber Lagging is ideal for pulleys that require more friction on the conveyor belt. 
The diamond grooves on rubber provide added flexibility to move and bend with the conveyer belt. 
Another advantage of diamond grooved rubber lagging is that it sheds water off the pulley to prevent slippage.
