Double sealing skirting rubber, also called double lips skirting, double seal skirting, features its special structure, as belows:
1. The sealing system is a low-maintenance design that provides an effective seal without the application of downward force onto the belt.
2. It is recommended that appropriate wear liners be installed on the inside of the chute to protect the sealing system from material side-loading forces.
3. It is composed of a single strip of rubber fabricated with an integral "outrigger" strip to form two sealing barriers.
4. This skirting will provide dual sealing effectiveness while allowing the simple installation of single-strip systems.
5. The sealing strip is clamped against the metal chute wall above the belt.
6. The strip's primary leg is installed to touch the belt, forming a flexible wall to contain fugitive material. The sealing strip's "outrigger" leg will be installed so it lies on the outside of the belt, away from the material load.
