Pulley lagging plays a crucial role in protecting the pulley on your belt conveyor system, increasing belt friction and reducing abrasive wear as well as material build-up. It is the layer of material bonded to the shell of a conveyor pulley, typically covered in some form of rubber, ceramic, polyurethane, or other materials.

Description of Polyurethane Conveyor Pulley Laggings
Polyurethane conveyor pulley laggings are protective coverings made of polyurethane material that are applied to the surface of conveyor pulleys. Polyurethane conveyor lagging outlasts rubber conveyor pulley lagging by a factor of between five to ten. It provides superior impact, cut and abrasive resistance compared to rubber
Polyurethane pulley lagging is suitable for all non-drive pulleys where service life is a critical factor. We can produce 2 types polyurethane pulley lagging
Cold bonding polyurethane lagging
A combination of highly abrasive resistant polyurethane bonded to a neoprene backing rubber, polyurethane lagging delivers maxium service life while reducing both initial and ongoing maintenance costs
Polyurethane direct hot cast lagging
Higher level of bond strength and good abrasion resistance of polyurethane ensure longer service life. Polyurethane hot cast pulley lagging costs more but lasts up to 7 times longer than traditional rubber lagging
